Biographical
In July 2010 I became certified as a Circuit Court Mediator. Also in 2010 I became certified as a Federal Mediator, Middle District of Florida. I offer statewide mediation services, with NO travel charge. In October 2010, I presided over my first Circuit Court mediation. In the first three years as a full time mediator, I presided over 250 mediations. By the end of 2021, I presided over 900 mediations. Previously, I was employed with Beltz & Ruth, P.A. from 1992 through 2010 (Beltz, Ruth, Magazine, Newman & Kohl, P.A. 2002-2005). During the eighteen (18) years with the firm, I primarily worked on complex malpractice, nursing home, products and motor vehicle cases. However, I also enjoyed the exposure to other areas of law such as contract, consumer and employment.

Education
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1987. I then went on to receive my Juris Doctor degree in 1991, also at the University of Florida. While attending the University of Florida College of Law, I was a Teaching Fellow and interned for the State Attorney’s Office in the Eighth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida. I was also a member of the Attorney General Staff for the University of Florida Student Honor Court.
Memberships & Affiliations
I am a member of the Florida Bar. I am admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the Federal Middle District Court of Florida and the Federal Southern District Court of Florida.
