Biographical

Ruth D. Raisfeld is an attorney providing alternative dispute resolution services (including mediation, arbitration, workplace investigations, and training) to law firms, corporations, and neutral panels. Ruth started her own alternative dispute resolution firm, Ruth D. Raisfeld, P.C., in 2002. She has over 40 years of employment relations law experience and has mediated claims of wrongful termination, executive compensation disputes, wage-and-hour individual, collective and class actions, misclassification and off-the-clock labor law claims, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, breach of employment contract and other civil and commercial matters.  Her varied industry experience includes work for clients in the financial services industry, higher education, not-for-profit organizations, manufacturing, garment industry, restaurant and hospitality industries, fashion, publishing, recruiting, fitness, telecommunications, retail, and health care, among others. Ruth has also mediated commercial disputes as Special Master, Appellate Division First Department Pre-Argument Program and in private litigated matters.
