Biographical

Amy L. Gaffney is a member of Gaffney Lewis, LLC and practices in the area of general litigation with an emphasis on employment and tort litigation. As a litigator Ms. Gaffney has represented individuals in a variety of employment matters ranging from collective actions on behalf of public and private employees asserting violation of the FLSA, to individual claims of discrimination and harassment. She has assisted employers by drafting employment policies and conducting employee training. Ms. Gaffney has also represented corporations and small businesses in defending tort, products, and pharmacy cases, trying cases through the State.  Finally, Ms. Gaffney has conducted investigations of workplace complaints of discrimination, harassment, unfair pay practices, and retaliation.

 Ms. Gaffney has been a certified mediator since 1995 and has mediated hundreds of employment, tort, and contract cases and has worked with parties to craft resolutions of disputed claims pre-suit.

Rates Information

$400 per hour; travel billed at 1/2 hourly rate
