Biographical
Ms. Van Horne is the first female mediator in Nebraska to be accepted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. She has successfully mediated a wide variety of disputes, including disability discrimination claims, personal injury claims, gender discrimination claims, disability discrimination claims, wrongful death claims, invasion of privacy claims, defamation claims, medical malpractice claims, estate claims, landlord/tenant disputes, employment disputes, and contract disputes, among others.
A second-career lawyer, her experience as a public school teacher, combined with extensive experience litigating personal injury, products liability and insurance coverage disputes, give her the unique ability to both educate parties on how a case will progress to verdict and provide valuable support in reaching success in mediation.
Ms. Van Horne is on the panel of approved mediators for the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska.
Ms. Van Horne has served as an adjunct instructor at Creighton University Law School teaching Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Rates Information
$370 per hour mediation/$425 per hour arbitration. Arbitrations cancelled with less than 10 business days' notice will have a cancellation penalty of $1,000 per day of arbitration scheduled assessed, billed in equal shares to participating parties.
