Biographical
Ann O’Malley Shake served on the Kentucky Courts of Justice, beginning in 1990 in the many divisions of District Court; in 1998 she was appointed, then elected to the Circuit Court (general jurisdiction); and in 2012 she completed her judicial service on the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
Providing mediation and arbitration services since 2007, she has mediated personal injury, wrongful death, business, real estate, decedent’s estate, commercial code, employment/workplace, professional malpractice (both legal and medical), contract, corporation and debt collection disputes, over 80% of which have resulted in settlements. Arbitration matters have included nursing home, business, business dissolution, shareholder, securities and real estate disputes.

Rates Information
$450 hourly for mediation - two-hour minimum for half day; four-hour minimum for all day
$500 hourly for arbitration - two-hour minimum for half day; four-hour minimum for all day
Cancellation charge of $200 if mediation is cancelled less than 7 days in advance.
