Biographical

Hal has over thirty years experience as a Construction, Commercial, Business, Environmental and Real Estate dispute mediator and has mediated hundreds of disputes.  He has recently been selected as a Master Mediator by Mediation.org, the American Arbitration Association's mediation division, and was recently certified as a Mediator by the International Mediation Institute.  He also has over thirty-five years' of experience as a Construction, Commercial/Business and Real Estate Dispute arbitrator.  He has served on the AAA's Arbitration Panels since 1986 and during that time has served as either a single arbitrator, panel member or panel chair in over 200 cases.  

 He has practiced Construction, Real Estate and Commercial/Business Law and Litigation for over thirty-five years.

During that time, in his construction practice, he has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, insurers, sureties, materialmen and design professionals in claims on construction projects, both public and private at all stages of the construction process and on all types of projects, both public and private.

His general litigation practice has centered on large, complex commercial litigation of all types and involving just about every sort of commercial activity.

Rates Information

Arbitration: $450 per hour,  Mediation: $500 per hour (total, regardless of the number of parties);

If Arbitration Hearing is cancelled within ten business days of the date of Hearing, a cancellation fee of fifty percent (50%) of the estimated compensation is in effect.
