Biographical
ADR Practitioner of the Year
N. Janine Dickey, has successfully conducted well over 1000 mediations involving Federal and State Court civil complex and multi-party matters in diverse areas such as: employment; commercial and residential real estate; business disputes; tech services; consumer product manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and distribution; transportation; professional services (legal, medical, accounting); staffing services; religious and non-profit. Janine is an ADR leader in New Jersey honored with ADR Practitioner of the Year Award in 2015 and awarded Accredited Professional Mediator (APM) in Business and Commercial Mediation in 2010. Janine has been intricately involved in the evolving culture of mediation in New Jersey, serving on the Supreme Court Committee for Complementary Dispute Resolution, Chairing the Dispute Resolution Section of the NJ Bar Association, serving on the Executive Committee of the Garibaldi ADR Inn of Courts, and holding various leadership positions with the NJ Association of Professional Mediators. Prior to focusing exclusively on mediation and arbitration, Janine practiced as a litigator with major New Jersey law firms, followed by establishing her own firm, representing small businesses, corporations, and individuals. Janine is a frequent presenter and trainer of ADR techniques, regionally, nationally and internationally.
In addition to legal experience, Janine has a business background which includes overseeing operations for a family owned business with executive responsibility for product design; manufacturing; marketing; and retail fulfillment. She also served as operational manager of a start-up biometric firm, hiring and supervising personnel and overseeing beta-testing of child safety fingerprinting service to consumers. In addition, Janine for many years chaired the personnel team and provided legal counsel to a large religious institution and affiliated day care division.
With a Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law and a Psychology degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Virginia, Janine as a neutral, offers her high-level analytic skills, honed understanding of persons and businesses in diverse cultural arenas, passions and expertise to each unique matter.

Rates Information
$475/hour, proportionately divided among parties in interest unless otherwise agreed.
Fixed rate negotiable as appropriate for specific matter.
