Biographical
John brings decades of trial experience to the ADR process. For over 30 years he has handled complex cases, representing both defendants and plaintiffs; businesses and individuals; in a wide variety of civil litigation matters. John has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) since 2006. ABOTA is an elite, invitation-only, national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges.
John’s clients and peers have repeatedly recognized him for his excellence and leadership in the profession. From early-career distinction as the Outstanding Young Lawyer in Tarrant County to his recent selection to the 2023 Texas Super Lawyer list and his induction into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, John has consistently excelled at the highest level of the legal profession.
John has continuously earned the “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the Highest Rating for Legal Ability and Ethical Standards, while simultaneously serving as a leader for multiple bar and non-profit organizations. While his strong analytical, persuasive, and literary skills serve him well in the courtroom. boardroom, and ADR settings, it is the relationships of trust he has developed over the decades with clients, lawyers, and the judiciary that John deems his greatest professional success.
Based in Fort Worth, Texas, John mediates and arbitrates cases across the state (Abilene, Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, San Antonio, Tyler) and nationwide (Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Oklahoma City, San Francisco, Washington DC).
