Biographical

John Allen Chalk has extensive general business and commercial litigation experience, including healthcare, payor/provider, real estate, oil and gas, alternative energy, financial services, telecommunications, employment and restrictive covenant issues. He is an active mediator and arbitrator and represents clients in mediation and arbitration - both domestic and international.  Mr. Chalk has obtained large jury verdicts and arbitration awards for his clients. He has also arbitrated many complex disputes involving large claims and counterclaims. Mr. Chalk has assisted clients in obtaining approximately U.S.$2 billion in project and corporate fundings, including the structuring, financing, and funding of approximately U.S.$55 million in infrastructure projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan following its independence from the Soviet Union. Mr. Chalk assists clients in the design and structuring of alternative dispute resolution plans.  Mr. Chalk has represented numerous healthcare entities, including physician practice groups, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers,and home health agencies.
