Biographical
Kight L. Higgins has extensive training and experience as a professional mediator in working with clients and their counsel to successfully resolve civil disputes and civil litigation cases. Mr. Higgins shifted his practice focus to full time mediation in 2003 and has successfully mediated thousands of complex civil litigation matters.
Mr. Higgins is certified as having completed all mediator training required by Chapter 154 of the Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code, and has received advanced mediator training through Texas Tech University School of Law, the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution, Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, and the Association of Attorney-Mediators. He serves as a court-appointed private mediator for courts throughout the State of Texas.
Mr. Higgins has been recognized by several north texas magazines as a top mediator, including recognition by Fort Worth magazine as one of Tarrant County's Top Mediators every year since 2003. Formerly a litigation partner with a large regional law firm, Mr. Higgins was recognized as one of Tarrant County's top business/commercial litigation attorneys prior to shifting focus to full-time mediation in 2003.
