Mark R. Sonders

Mr. Sonders has practiced law for 51 years.  He focuses his practice on mediations and arbitrations. His extensive experience includes both the prosecution and defense of negligence, personal injury cases and property insurance claims.

Mr. Sonders received Martindale-Hubbell's AV Rating for the highest level of competence and ethics.  He was a designated neutral for the United States District Court of the Northern District of New York from 2010 until 2023. He served as the Third Judicial District Chairperson on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division Third Judicial Department's Committee on Character and Fitness when his ten year statutory term expired in 2023. 

Mr. Sonders has been designated a "Super Lawyer" for seven years and has been identified as "a top rated alternative dispute resolution attorney."

He is a founding member of Litigation Resolution Services, LLC., a mediation and arbitration firm serving upstate New York.
