Biographical

Mark Williams is a fourth-generation Montanan and third-generation Montana lawyer. He graduated with honors from the University of Montana School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Montana Law Review, was Graduate of the Year for Phi Delta Phi, and selected to clerk for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

He has practiced for 30 years handling civil trials and appeals involving tort and commercial claims, professional negligence, products liability, insurance coverage issues, employment and other civil claims. He has successfully tried dozens of cases in state and federal courts and has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates and served as the Montana president of ABOTA, which is an invitation-only organization for senior trial attorneys with extensive jury trial experience. Mark was also inducted into the International Society of Barristers.

In addition, Mark has taught future lawyers as adjunct professor of insurance law at the University of Montana School of Law, and currently serves on the school’s Advisory Board. Mark enjoys mediating all types of civil litigation matters.
