In July 2010 I became certified as a Circuit Court Mediator.  Also in 2010 I became certified as a Federal Mediator, Middle District of Florida.  My office is in St. Petersburg, conveniently located within minutes of the Howard Franklin Bridge, Gandy Bridge and U.S. 19.  I offer statewide mediation services, with NO travel charge and/or conference rooms available hourly to meet with clients, conduct depositions, or mediation with my colleagues who have no physical office.  In October 2010, I presided over my first Circuit Court mediation.  In the first three years as a full time mediator, I have presided over 250 mediations. Previously, I was employed as a law clerk with several firms: Rumrell and Johnson, PA in Jacksonville; Stripling and McMichael, PA in Gainesville; and Chandler, Gray, Lang and Haswell, PA in Gainesville. I worked at Beltz & Ruth, P.A. from 1992 through 2010 (Beltz, Ruth, Magazine, Newman & Kohl, P.A. 2002-2005). During the eighteen (18) years with the firm, I primarily worked on complex malpractice, nursing home, products and motor vehicle cases. However, I also enjoyed the exposure to other areas of law such as contract, consumer and employment.
