Biographical
As a trial attorney since he began practicing law in 1980, Mr. Schroeter developed experience in a wide variety of civil litigation matters. Based upon that experience, including numerous trials in state and federal courts, he began serving as a mediator in the late 1990s. Mr. Schroeter's now does mediation and other types of ADR, including arbitration and serving as a court- appointed referee. He has mediated over 2000 cases and mediates more than 100 cases per year.
Mr. Schroeter is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale- Hubbell and recognized by Best Lawyers in America and New England Super Lawyers in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation. He has served as Chair of the Maine State Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and as the President of the Maine Association Of Mediators.
