Mr. Lancaster has handled oral appellate arguments before the Second District Court of Appeals and the Florida Supreme Court. He has lectured on court ordered mediation at Stetson University College of Law and at Continuing Legal Education courses in Florida and Ohio.

Mr. Lancaster is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Family and Marriage Counseling Division of the Juvenile Welfare Board. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer (2000-2010) by the Florida Bar, a Certified Circuit Court Mediator, a Certified Federal Court Mediator, and an Arbitrator. AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Mr. Lancaster was appointed in July of 2006 by Governor Jeb Bush to the State of Florida Judicial Nominating Commission for the Sixth Judicial Circuit for a term of 4 years. He is a past Chairman. He was also selected by peers as a Florida Super Lawyer in 2006,2007,2008, 2009 and 2010. Mr. Lancaster was listed in Florida Trend's "Legal Elite" as a mediator in 2007.
