Biographical
As a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer who practiced Civil Trial law for more than 30 years, Scott Mitchell brings the perspective of extensive trial experience to the mediation process. With a steadily growing practice as a Certified Circuit Mediator, he has now chosen to focus exclusively on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Mitchell has represented parties to hundreds of professional malpractice, nursing home and assisted living facility, personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, employment, contract dispute and construction matters. He tried many of these cases to verdict before North Florida juries, and attained board certification in Civil Trial Law in 1998. He also became certified as a Circuit Civil Mediator in 1998, and has since successfully mediated thousands of cases involving a wide range of civil issues. He would welcome the opportunity to bring that experience to your next civil mediation.
