Biographical
Ted served as an adjunct settlement judge for the District Court of Tulsa County for 12 years and has mediated cases professionally as an adjunct to his trial practice for the last 4 years. He has mediated approximately 250 cases in the last 4 years. Most of those cases involved medical negligence, personal injury and wrongful death, as well as construction litigation. Ted has been in practice for 30 years and maintains a busy practice primarily in the area of professional negligence.

Ted Sherwood graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1983. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Tulsa (BSBA ‘77).

He has served as president (1996) and on the Board of the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association (1988-89, 1991-2009) Member of the Year (2004); appointed by Governor Brad Henry to Select Committee on Medical Malpractice Reform (2003); Fellow, American College of Trial Lawyers (2006); Board of Areawide Agency on Aging of Oklahoma County (1997); Board of Tulsa Senior Services (1998-2001).
